The Scania G-series is highly adaptable, offering great driveability and visibility. The medium-height cab mounting point means that numerous different cab variants are possible – whether your business operation requires a short cab, day cab, or a sleeper.

The medium-height G-series cab offers great visibility of the road ahead, and a spacious cab interior with plenty of storage options: making it a great choice for either regional or national transport operations.

Driving, living, resting

A premium working cab with easy access, generous storage options and excellent rest space. With an optimised dashboard and on-board entertainment, life on the road just got more comfortable. A wide range of rest and sleeping options are possible with the G-Series, making it suitable for a multitude of different operational uses.

Your daytime office

Scania's starting point when designing the G-series cab interior was to optimise the driver's position and instrument panel. With a larger display.....G-series drivers and are well-informed for the road ahead. Features such as driver seat positioning, side windows, slim design of the A-pillars and a larger surface area of glass, bring a whole new level of visibility. The dashboard has also been lowered slightly to enhance forward visibility.

Storage options

The cab interior can be widely tailored to your exact needs: The short cab can be specified with a storage bar on the rear wall for storage of helmets, gloves, jackets etc. The day cab with a normal roof offers considerable front roof storage space, whilst a rear-wall storage module means that even bulky items can be stowed away safely and tidily. The G-series also offers generously-sized exterior storage lockers, meaning that dirty or wet items can be carried outside of the main cab.

External features

Front, roof, side, underbody – all areas have been analysed, designed and optimised to achieve the lowest possible aerodynamic drag. Tight panel gaps and streamlined contours offer both style and aerodynamic efficiency. Lighting is one of the most prominent features of the G-cab, enhancing both its appearance and safety levels. Position lights and extra lights are integrated into the cab, and for tough conditions trucks can be fitted with extra headlamp protection.

G-Short Low Roof

The shorter cab with low roof is a great option for operations requiring maximum load length and/or weight capacity. G-day low

The G-series day cab can be specified with a normal or a low roof - making the transport of overhead loads possible, whilst still offering the ability to sleep overnight in the vehicle if desired. Alternatively, an extra seat can be positioned on top of the engine tunnel, allowing for a driver and two crew members to travel in comfort. Cab Floor 170mm (front wall to rear wall) 325mm engine tunnel 1.5m standing height Cab height Low (3010 mm), Normal (3350 mm) (without air deflectors) Resting mattress Intended for short rest periods, the 7cm thick foam rubber mattress can be folded up against the rear wall. 2m long, with a 54cm wide centre section, scalloped to 34cm wide behind the driver's seat. G-sleeper normal

A sleeper cab with a large bed, for longer national trips. Cab Floor 200mm (front wall to rear wall) 325mm engine tunnel 1.8m standing height Cab Height Low (3010 mm), Normal (3350 mm), Highline (3610) (without air deflectors) Lower Bed 80cm-1m wide extendable bed or 80cm wide fixed bed. 2m long (additional 20cm extender also available). Foam (medium or hard density), Bonnell, or pocket spring mattress options. Upper Bed (normal/high roof) 60cm wide bed with 12cm thick Bonnell spring mattress. 2m long, with a safety net.
